“May your choices reflect your hopes, and not your fears.” – Nelson Mandela
We often find ourselves relying on our worries and anxieties when we make choices that we find important. Psychological studies have found that our knee-jerk reactions and strategies for moving forward when we feel that our future is at stake default to avoiding what we think will be the negative consequences. If we can focus on what we want instead of what we want to avoid we are more capable of making a life we have always wanted, and can move forward into a life of abundance and joy.
